About

 About Me

Hi, I’m Charles Lomboni — a malware analyst, reverse engineer, and security researcher passionate about understanding the inner workings of binaries and exposing how malicious software operates. My work blends deep technical research with automation, helping defenders and students learn how modern malware behaves at a low level.

 What I Do

  • Reverse engineering of Windows and Linux malware
  • Exploit and driver vulnerability analysis
  • Teaching malware analysis and Windows internals
  • Building open-source tools for security research

 Projects & Research

I maintain some open-source projects focused on analysis and education:

  • AskJOE — an AI-powered Ghidra assistant.
  • PEHint — a PE parser for learning and triage.
  • NoDelete — assists in malware analysis by locking a folder where malware drops files before deleting them.
  • dnSpyDLLHelper — simplifying dnSpy Debugging for DLLs.

 Teaching & Writing

I develop and teach courses on reverse engineering, malware triage, and system internals — guiding learners from fundamentals to advanced analysis techniques.
